Basem Hanna is a pioneer in the cannabis industry founding one of Canada’s largest licensed producers, TerrAscend, in 2014. As CEO, he brought TerrAscend public through a $52.2million placement.
In October of 2018, Basem joined forces with Trang Trinh (CEO, TREC Brands) and Charles Khabouth (Co-Founder, TREC Brands). Within a matter of two months, the trio formed TREC Brands, based in Toronto, Ontario.
Basem embodies the core values of TREC brands— trust, respect, equality, and compassion— inspiring the team to “do good” by building purpose-driven brands.
